Ko Bragg, 23, is co-producing this film as her master's project for Columbia Journalism School. She is a 2015 graduate of Spelman College, where she majored in U.S./African-American history. She revived Spelman's newspaper, The BluePrint, as the first editor-in-chief of the rebranded publication. Most recently, she was a writing intern at NBCBLK. Previously, she was an editor at Blavity Life.

 In the fall, she will pursue a dual-degree in journalism at Sciences Po in Paris, France, where she will also intern for WAN-IFRA, the World Association of News Editors and News Publishers. She is passionate about reporting on African Americans as well as social justice.
